My Morning Routine

My Morning Routine

If I can’t sleep in and lay in bed all morning this is my morning routine that I try to stick too during the week.

my workout routine definitely involves the night before so that I am motivated to get up in the morning and start my day in a good mood.

night before:

  • Try to clean up my room, kitchen, and bathroom since that is where I spend my mornings and I feel so much better waking up knowing that it’s not a mess in my space,

  • I learned that if I have to get up and go all the way to kitchen for my pre-workout then it takes me way longer to get out of bed. So, I put my shaker cup and powder right next to my bed and then all I have to do is roll over and grab it. :)

  • Reflect on my day by writing in my journal!

When I wake up:

  • I do a 20-45 minute work out which is usually either P.volve or the Peloton. 2 years ago I realized that I haaated going to the gym in the mornings (or at all) so I stopped going and now I only do at home workouts or outdoor activities in my neighborhood.

  • After my work out, I try to do a quick mediation, set my intentions for the day, and then I get ready for work while listening to a podcast or maybe an audio book.

  • Once I get to work I make a hot lemon green tea. Green tea has a little bit of caffeine plus so many other benefits. Hot lemon water helps with digestion and hydration.

  • I am not typically that hungry in the mornings so most of the time I just take an early lunch around 11am and then come back to my house to eat lunch since my work is so close.

Supplements:

After lunch I take some supplements that I really feel make a difference on how to I am feeling that day. Turmeric/Ginger, multi-vitamin, legion athletics Phoenix supplement pill.

Well thats my morning routine. Let me know if you do anything in the mornings that you swear by and I would love to check it out!
