@Filledtothe_Brimm: Trader Joe's Grocery List
Hi everyone! My name is Kaylee Brimm and I am a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN). I have a passion for food and the science of nutrition, which is why I was inspired to create my food Instagram, @filledtothe_brimm. As a Trader Joe’s obsessed twenty-something year old, I love sharing my favorite foods and products, as well as recipes that I create.
As an RD, I hope to use my knowledge to shift the perspective of the public away from being weight-obsessed, and more towards what truly matters: HEALTH. Many feel that health and weight can be used synonymously, but I hope to change the narrative by advocating for balance through my work. I use my Instagram to show people that health is not simply a number on the scale. It is multifactorial and involves nutrition, sleep, stress, mindful movement, and much more. I aim to be as transparent as possible by showing people that I eat things like carbs, gluten, sugar, and alcohol. All things that I enjoy in moderation, and that is what it’s all about.
I am currently pursuing a career in Clinical Dietetics, where I will have the opportunity to perform nutrition assessments, provide education, calculate tube feeding needs, participate in rounds with physicians and other members of the interprofessional team, and much more. Additionally, I have always had the dream of starting my own private practice where I will work with individuals 1-on-1 on healing their relationship with food and prioritizing health and balance in their own lives.
